As the face of SHIFTR, you'll be directly responsible for instructing our customers on how to properly drive a manual transmission vehicle.

You’ll

  • Directly instruct (behind-the-wheel) on the fundamentals of stick shift driving.
     

  • Provide customers an educational experience as you answer all of their questions and provide actionable feedback.
     

  • Work at various training locations throughout the Los Angeles area that are convenient for you.​

  • Make efficient decisions to ensure successful appointments and an excellent customer experience.

You Have

  • At least 2 years of current manual transmission driving experience.

  • A valid driver's license.​

  • A clean MVR & background check.

  • Interest in customer service and connecting with people.

  • A lot of patience & high attention to detail.

  • A strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.

  • A calm demeanor under pressure.

  • Self-motivation.

  • Highly effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and organization skills.

  • Your own manual transmission vehicle.

Perks

  • $46 - $77 per hour of lesson time.
